Session Synopsis: Rob Main, Dept. of Homeland Security Cybersecurity State Coordinator for both North Carolina and South Carolina will share Cybersecurity Insights for the top Critical Infrastructure Sectors (Energy, Healthcare, Water, Fintech, Agriculture) impacted by the use of AI within those sectors.  This session will share useful information applying DHS guidance and operational tactics for proactive risk management and management in the age of AI.

Speaker Bio

Rob Main, a veteran IT leader with over 36 years of experience, joined the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency in June 2023 and presently serves as Cybersecurity State Coordinator for both North Carolina and South Carolina. He assists critical infrastructure owners, SLTT governments, and organizations with CISA cybersecurity resources and serves as liaison to cyber programs. As an FBI Cyber Task Force Member, Rob coordinates complex cyber resilience efforts, leads public-private partnerships, and supports preparedness assessments, strategic messaging, working groups, and incident response during cyber threats and disruptions.
