Mike Holland, Executive Vice President

Mike Holland is a Strategic Business Development Executive with a track record of leading multiple sales channels to exceed quota, leading supply chain teams, and owning vendor relationships. He has proven success in client building and retention, international business development, and employee development and coaching. These talents are highlighted by Mike’s 40 Under 40 Award (2006) from The Charlotte Business Journal, an award that notes the top business leaders in the Charlotte area.

Prior to joining Fortalice, Mike was the Founder and President of Blue Line Group, a consulting services in business development and sales. His key clients included a European software company, an energy conservation firm, and an Asian original design manufacturer.

Mike also served as the Senior Vice President, Business Development, Americas and Europe for Taiwan Holding Company, Ubee Airwalk, and Vice President, Business Development for Mobinnova, where he was responsible for establishing and growing business relationships with carriers and distribution partners for a Taiwan­-based wireless device start­-up.

Previously, Mike also served as the Area Vice President, Sales Operations and Area Vice President, Sales for AT&T Wireless. In this role, Mike owned P&L in excess of $275M and earned three Circle of Excellence Awards, a peer­-to-­peer award given to top 2% of company’s 35,000+ employees.

Mike earned both his Masters of Business Administration and his Bachelors of Science in Finance from Auburn University. He also holds a certificate from the Center for Creative Leadership in “Developing the Strategic Leader”. Mike was selected for the Leadership Development Program with Southwestern Bell Communications.

Abstract:

Vulnerability Management is defined by some different ways but is it correct and effective? By not identifying if your organization is defining vulnerability management correctly, then there is the potential that of becoming a cyber target.
Will discuss and demonstrate live the effectiveness of a holistic vulnerability management program. Additionally will demonstrate live the means by which a cyber-attack is designed to attack those that are not.

Objectives:

– Understanding Vulnerability Management the “Tool” or the “Process”

– Reduce exposure factors through an established vulnerability management
program

– Establishing a heightened sense of Cyber Situational Awareness

Mr. Mike Muscatell is a seasoned IT veteran with more than thirty years in the Information Technology field, twenty of those years in the Information Security field. Early on in his career he successfully developed the first IT operations center in ’95 at NationsBank/Bank of America. He developed the Information and Cybersecurity Program for Snyder’s-Lance Inc. where he is the Information Security Manager. He is a certified ethical hacker and a certified penetration tester. He has been honored as one of the top 100 professionals in the Information Security Field by Strathmore’s Who’s Who for 2014 and also featured in Food Engineering Magazine discussing The Cyber Threat. Mike belongs to a number of security organizations including Infragard, US Chamber of Commerce Cyber Committee, and The International Cyber Threat Task Force where he is a member of the Cyber Council.

*****Note special events are going on at the Microsoft Campus tomorrow:  It is OK to park in the parking garages behind each of the buildings.  Also, there is no need to check into the front desk this week.  We will check everyone onto campus in the meeting room.

Everyone must sign in at first arriving on Microsoft Campus, no exceptions. Any Law Enforcement Officers who will be in attendance, and will be carrying need to either carry concealed or be in uniform.
