Eastern Carolina InfraGard Chapter Meeting

Wednesday, Oct 18, 2017

Time: 1:00pm – 4:00pm

Attention InfraGard member,

Join us at our next InfraGard meeting at Cisco on Wednesday October 18, 2017 from 1:00pm – 4:00pm.  You will learn about the sensational counterintelligence investigation that rocked the Washington, DC establishment.

In November 2012, United States Army (retired) General David Petraeus surprised many in Washington and across the country when he resigned as Director of CIA, following the revelation of an extramarital affair. Although the media focused much attention on this indiscretion, the General’s betrayal extended beyond his family to that of the public trust. The FBI Charlotte Field Office conducted a multi-year investigation that discovered significant mishandling of classified information that touched a multitude of U.S. military and intelligence agencies and their overseas operations. Please join us for a case briefing of investigative action, facts uncovered, and final resolution.
