In light of new developments surrounding the rapid global spread of Coronavirus (COVID-19), InfraGard Charlotte has decided to provide our chapter meeting virtually through Microsoft Teams.  We feel this is the best solution considering the recent pandemic and are hopeful that this method will be accommodating to our members.

About Registration:  Once you register, an email will be sent to you Monday or Tuesday with information on how to join the meeting.  This will be done using Microsoft Teams.  All registered attendee’s will be granted usage of Teams thanks to the generously of Microsoft.   If you currently use Microsoft Teams at work, that will work as well.

Topic:  China’s influence efforts as they relate to the protection of intellectual property within the private sector and the United States Government.

Presenter:

Greg Klein has served as the Supervisory Special Agent for the FBI’s Counterintelligence and Counterproliferation Squad in North Carolina for the past six years.  Prior to this role, SSA Klein led the FBI’s Insider Threat Investigations Unit at FBI Headquarters in Washington, DC for four years, including serving as the FBI Director for the initiation and first year of the National Insider Threat Task Force, which created a National Insider Threat Policy.  While at FBIHQ, SSA Klein also served as the unit chief for the Economic Espionage Unit and Global Espionage Unit in the Counterespionage Section of the FBI’s Counterintelligence Division.   SSA Klein began his career in the FBI’s Denver Field Office, and also worked in the Washington Field Office working counterintelligence matters prior to his FBIHQ assignments.  SSA Klein received his B.A. in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville, and currently lives in South Park.
